My Work

Logo Design
For this project, I designed a logo for a fictional time management app called Pomodoro, inspired by the popular time management method of the same name. This technique, which alternates 25-minute focused work sessions with five-minute breaks, has proven highly effective in my own work.
The goal of this project was to execute a graphic translation of a real-world item into a logo. The project walks through my design process where I began by taking photographs of a real-world item that I would base the logo off of. From there I moved to my sketchbook, creating some hand drawn thumbnails, before digitizing my favorites in Adobe illustrator. I further refined through iteration and applied the final logo to product mock-ups. I included process pictures to show how I think through design challenges.

Brochure Design
My goal with this project was to create a brochure that serves as both an informative resource and a visual invitation, bringing the Downtown Women's Center's important work into clearer focus for the community. The project challenged me to leverage my full design toolkit: including a redesign of the company logo and creating original illustrations in Adobe Illustrator, retouching photos in Photoshop, and developing a clean, structured layout in InDesign.

Menu Design
Honeybee's House of Breakfast is my favorite hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot in Los Angeles, where Salvadoran treats meet traditional diner fare. Redesigning their menu was an obvious choice for this project. I focused on typography and illustration to create a design that reflects the warm, inviting experience of both the staff and the food. I built the final layout in InDesign, carefully structuring each element to authentically showcase the restaurant's distinctive personality and atmosphere.

Magazine Design
Inspired by a local Los Angeles art gallery opening, I designed this 6-page magazine spread to give the art collective a deserved shout out. My process involved using a mood board for organization, editing photos in Photoshop, and designing the layout in InDesign. To complete the presentation, I included mock-ups for a polished finish.
